Engineering
We bring skilled, professional engineers, certified engineering technologists and designer/draftspersons to your engineering project. In the field, we also bring our highly professional and motivated contract administration and site supervision team. Together, our engineering department delivers full-service and value-added consulting engineering service.
Our specialities are the design of municipal infrastructure and subdivisions for all categories of land use.
Our engineering staff are experienced and seasoned in the challenges of the design and development process. As project managers, the Jones engineers are partnered with a variety of other land use specialists. Because of the core value of our services, we frequently supervise these other specialists. We deliver projects on time and within budget.
Survey
Cadastral surveying services are provided by Rodney H Geyer, Ontario Land Surveyor. Rodney has been involved in land surveying since 1985 and has been a licensed Ontario Land Surveyor since 1992. He is the holder of the Certificate of Authorization under Stel and Geyer Professional Land Surveyors Inc., to practice land surveying and is responsible for all legal surveys. In addition, Rodney is the Manager of Surveying Services for The Jones Consulting Group.
All field work is performed using the latest Total Station technology and GPS technology gathered by full-time field crews (having both engineering inspection, construction layout and legal surveying experience). We also have the flexibility to expand the number of field crews to accommodate the needs of our clients. The field data is processed using AutoCAD 2000 and Microsurvey 2005 calculation programs. The final plan data can be generated as hardcopy or in digital format for use by other individuals or professionals.
Rodney's reputation and expertise is based on the accuracy and completeness of his plans and reports, together with the ability to meet all deadlines and budgets. No project is too big or too small. Clients range from the individual who requires a single survey for a single home to thousands of lots.
