New Mixed Use Corridor Zone
On June 29th, 2015, approval was given by City Council to amend the Official Plan for the addition of Section 4.9 ?Mixed Use?. The approval is conditional as it is confined to the portions related to intensification and subject to the addition and removal or words within the applicable policy. The Mixed Use Corridor zone was approved subject to the deletion of Section 5.4.2.6 concerning Drive-Through Facilities. Further, staff has been directed to initiate a review and assessment of the potential to pre-zone only the Essa Road corridor.
The motion regarding Mixed use Corridor Zones has been deferred to the August 24th, 2015 City Council Meeting.
