Local Planning Appeal Support Centre (LPASC)
In April 2018 the Local Planning Appeal Support Centre (LPASC) was established as a new agency of the Government of Ontario, charged through the LPASC Act, 2017, to help the public engage early on in the planning process, and navigate the appeal process as needed. The Centre has since established an interim plan for services and criteria for assessing eligibility for further and more extensive professional services. The Centre is currently conducting an open consultation to inform and adapt operations moving forward, including services and eligibility criteria. Individuals are encouraged to review the Centre’s Interim Guide to Services and Eligibility prior to providing feedback. The online open consultation began on August 20th, 2018 and will be active until October 31st, 2018. The feedback obtained from this process will help shape this Centre providing Ontarians with information, advice, and representation in planning matters.
